The 24th China Welded Pipe (Cold Bending) Industry Annual Conference Successfully Held in 2025

From May 23 to 27, 2025, the 24th China Welded Pipe(Cold Bending) Industry Annual Conference was held in Kashgar, Xinjiang. Theevent brought together 222 delegates from 131 organizations, including experts,scholars, engineers, and entrepreneurs from the China Iron and SteelAssociation (CISA), the Sub-association for Cold Formed Steel industry (CSCS),and related industries.

With the theme “Expanding Outward, Innovatingfor Transformation,” this year’s conference delved into key industrytopics such as development trends, technological innovation, greenmanufacturing, and market opportunities. Through keynote speeches, technicalexchanges, and roundtable discussions, the event provided a high-quality platformfor collaboration and knowledge-sharing among industry peers.

Dr. Tang Yao from the CSDRI delivered a keynotereport titled “Operational Trends and Product Innovation in China’s SteelIndustry.” The report offered valuable insights into macroeconomic trends,competitive landscape analysis, and energy consumption control under the "dual-carbon"goals, serving as an important reference for enterprises adjusting theirproduction strategies.

Leaders from the CSCS presented a professionalreport on the current status and future prospects of the cold-formingindustry. The report highlighted the widespread applications of cold-formingsteel products, noting strong demand growth in eastern coastal and centralregions, as well as significant potential in the western market.

In the technical exchange segment, two key topicswere emphasized:

“Scientific Material Selection, AdvancedManufacturing Processes, and Proper Maintenance of Welded Pipe &Cold-Forming Dies”

“Applications of Large-Diameter CNC Cold Cuttingand Laser Flying Saw Machines”

Attendees found these presentations highlyinformative, providing practical knowledge on new technologies and materialmanagement.
